The Polish Chamber of Tourism will hold its next congress in Tunis

The Polish Chamber of Tourism will hold its next annual congress in Tunis, with the participation of more than 180 tour operators and travel agents, the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts said.

This decision was announced on the sidelines of the meeting held in Poland by the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Mohamed Moez Belhassine and the President of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, and the European Association of Work and Tour Agencies -operators (ECTA) Pawel Niewiadomski, according to the ministry’s facebook page.

Belhassine, who began a working visit to Poland on May 22, where he had meetings on May 22 and 23, 2022, with Polish media and tour operators on ways to strengthen demand for the Tunisian destination, to in particular through the programming of winter trips, especially as Tunisian tourism offers a diversified offer in terms of Saharan, ecological, cultural and sports tourism.

Emphasis was also placed during its meetings on the means mobilized by the ministry to ensure the revival of tourist activity, and the main international events that Tunisia will host, including the Francophonie summit scheduled for 19 and next November 20, in Djerba.

According to the tourism department, the minister then went to the Czech Republic, for a two-day visit to Prague where he was to meet his Czech counterpart, as well as officials from the tourism sector.

Belhassen’s move is part of the ministry’s efforts to relaunch the Central European tourist market.
