The police said that the accused committed the gang rape in the nursery in Thailand after a fight with his girlfriend. Thai nursery killer’s 3 hour rampage started after fight with girlfriend

Bangkok: After a fight with his girlfriend, 34-year-old Panya Khamrap committed gang rape in a nursery in Thailand, police said. Panya killed 36 people, including 22 children, in the three-hour long firing. Children aged between two and five years died.

At first, the Thai police thought that Panya was a drug addict. But the post-mortem examination did not find the presence of intoxicants, which confused the police.

Panya was born and raised in Tha Uthai, a relatively poor inland village in Thailand. He studied law at Bangkok University. After that he got a job in the police. Bangkok is one of the wealthiest places in Thailand. Panya returned to her homeland in 2020. He was fired in January for drug possession. The police had assessed this as the reason behind the murder.

Colleagues say that Panya had a quick-tempered nature. Panya also had a relationship with a divorced woman. Neighbors also say that the girl and her son were locked inside the Panya house. In 2020, 29 people were killed in a massacre in another province of Thailand. It is also reported that Panya often praised this incident.

Panya and her girlfriend lived in a small house in a Thai village. They used to fight often. Even before the massacre, there was a fight between them. Then the young woman said that she would leave the house, provoking Panya. After the attack, he killed his wife and son and committed suicide, police said.

The attack was on a care center for children under two years of age. The assailant came when the children were sleeping. The first shot was fired at the employees. Four people, including a teacher who was eight months pregnant, were shot dead. Then he turned towards the sleeping children. The police found the children in the day care where there were 30 children lying in a pool of blood.
