The police have finished the investigation into the violent fire: that’s what they found out

And now the police are ready with new information about the fire that broke out late on Sunday evening, June 30.

The North Jutland Police have finally completed their investigation into the fire, and it has not been possible to clarify a final cause of the fire.

This is stated by the head of the police investigation, Police Commissioner Carsten Straszek, in a press release.

He points out that a significant hindrance in the investigative work has been that it has not been possible – for safety reasons, among other things – to carry out an investigation inside the fire scene.

– The circumstances at the scene of the fire mean that it is not possible for the North Jutland Police to conclude anything about the cause of the fire, states Carsten Straszek.

– Since the investigation is now finally finished, we are not getting any closer to the cause of the fire, he says.

There is no indication of arson

As part of the police’s investigative steps in connection with the case, they have also thoroughly investigated whether the fire could have been started.

– During our investigation, we have not found any evidence, information or video material that allows us to conclude that it was an arson attack, says Carsten Straszek.

The cause of the fire has therefore, the police circle must again emphasize, not been finally determined.
The prosecuting authority at the North Jutland Police has completed its work with the legal assessment of the police investigation, and has closed the case.
