The corresponding autopsy has already been carried out and progress is being made in the pertinent investigations.
It all started on Saturday around 4:00 p.m., according to the police press, when a woman from Charata called the public force requesting an intervention in her house, denouncing that a man was trying to enter the house.
When they arrived at the scene, the agents saw that a man was already inside the woman’s home, but when he saw the police he tried to escape. The troops managed to reduce and arrest him. The thief was 37 years old.
As usual, following that he was transferred to legal medicine where the criminal decompensated.
Always according to the police version, following being examined by the doctor of the force, the delayed 37-year-old decompensated. Given the situation, he was immediately transferred to the local hospital where attempts were made to revive him without obtaining positive results. The attending physician confirmed the death.
Around 8:00 p.m., the deceased was transferred by the Fire Department to the forensic room where forensic doctor Hugo Rodríguez intervened, who carried out the autopsy with the presence of Prosecutor Hugo Baigorri together with doctor Daniel Gurman.
After the intervention, they reported that “the cause of death was non-traumatic cardiorespiratory arrest and no recent injuries were found.”
Staff from the Scientific Cabinet also carried out police mobile skills and took testimonial statements from the police staff and neighbors where the procedure was carried out.
