Harry Potter fans playing Hogwarts Legacy have discovered a touching tribute to the late actor Robbie Coltrane, who played Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter films.
TikTok user “WhySoSirius” showed the location of the memorial to the actor, which is located near Hogwarts Castle, in this video:
In the location shown in the video, the player will be able to find a tombstone overlooking the Black Lake, which is engraved with a hippogriff referring to Hagrid’s companion, Buckbeak. It’s a lovely nod to a beloved actor, even though it doesn’t fit into the game’s canon.
It is not yet known how many more of these interesting little things players will be able to discover, but it is very touching and nice to see that the developer really appreciates the contribution of the franchise to the history of cinema and art.
