The NBA calendar has not yet fallen but some key dates are starting to leak to the media. Today, it’s regarding the end of the regular season and the Play-in Tournament.
While we take advantage as much as we can of the Summer League to see a little orange ball, the NBA back to school is in all our heads. In a while, we should see the dates of covers, the Christmas posters or even the details for the All-Star Game. For the moment, the information is trickling down and we only know the details concerning the end of the season. Who says end of season says Playoffs but above all Play-in Tournament. The famous dam set up by Adam Silver since 2020 caused a lot of talk in its debut, but its success with the fans made it possible to validate the choice of the boss of the League. As Adrian Wojnarowski reported yesterday, the Play-in should even become permanent in the NBA. Since we will still be entitled to these cleaver matches next season, it is better to find a date for them and Tim Reynolds from Associated Press shared his calendar info with us.
2023 Play-In Tournament: April 11, April 12 and April 14.

It is therefore on April 11, 12 and 14 that the last candidates for the Playoffs will settle their accounts.. We are not starting on a big difference with this season since the Play-in took place on April 12, 13 and 15. Thanks to the insider (scroll down the tweet for additional information), we also know that the regular season will end on April 9, with probably a huge program to end in style (this year, the 30 teams played on the last night) and the Playoffs will start on the 15. Suffice to say that some teams already know when they will be on vacation and others are secretly hoping to make a little extra money. We will see, for example, if the Kings finally break their cursed series by qualifying for the postseason. There are obviously still some shadows to be clarified: will the play-in remain in its current form, that is to say between the seventh and the tenth regardless of the difference in the number of victories, or else will we have thresholds to reach to be able to compete as was the case for the first edition? The question remains at time T.
We know the dates for the end of the season and that obviously makes us want to meet once more in October to attack the hostilities. Another three short months to wait and we will be able to find the most beautiful league in the world.
