The 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star break is approaching and several teams will have to decide regarding their near future during this break.

All teams are waiting for these dates to move their pieces as they see fit, many to think regarding the next season and others to open the checkbook and think regarding reaching the postseason.

The Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Miami Marlins are three teams willing to sell, as they have confirmed, and will listen to offers until July 30, the trade deadline.

Toronto yesterday dispelled rumors regarding a possible sale of its Dominican star Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

According to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, the Bluebirds would trade players whose contracts are regarding to expire.

“I think they will sell their next free agents, but nothing more, unless they get an irresistible offer,” one National League executive told Feinsand.

White Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet is another player who might leave this month. The left-hander is the major league strikeout leader and is in the spotlight for almost every team.

The Philadelphia Phillies will reach the halfway point of the season as the best team, surpassing teams with better payrolls such as the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees.

The Bombers have fallen to second place in the American League East following a blistering start. General manager Brian Cashman said earlier this week that they would be “open to a lot of different things” in reference to possible moves.—William Trejo Gonzalez
