Russia – The Federal Security Service published clips of the interrogation of those accused of carrying out the “Crocus” terrorist attack, and they admitted their intention to flee to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. They also revealed the financial reward they were promised.

The investigation house stated that the terrorist attack was carefully planned, weapons and terrorist means were purchased, escape routes were determined for the terrorists in the Bryansk region, then the car was burned in the forest, and the coordinator was informed of this, in order to ensure their passage, through the Ukrainian special services, to Ukrainian territory and their delivery to Kiev. The terrorists were promised to pay one million rubles (regarding 11 thousand US dollars) in exchange for carrying out the terrorist attack, a figure twice greater than the figure revealed by the terrorists at the moment of their arrest.

Murad Ali Saeed Akrami Rajab Alizadeh said that they were told to go to Kiev following carrying out the “Crocus” terrorist attack, and when they reached the border they had to call a person named, Qaqah, to cross them to the other side. There each of them will receive one million rubles.

In response to a question regarding Qaqah’s identity, the terrorist replied that he did not know who he was.

The second terrorist, Dalirjon Mirzoev, admitted to carrying out the terrorist attack, and said that following the attack they were planning to go towards Kiev. Adding that he received orders from “Sivolo,” meaning “Sword of God,” who told them to contact him when they reached the Russian-Ukrainian border so that he would inform them of the next steps to reach Kiev.

Fereydoun Shams al-Din said that following committing the crime, they sat in the car and wanted to leave Russian territory and go to Kiev. When they were on the way, “Saif Allah” called them and told them to go to Kiev, leave their car at the border, and call him to help them later.

The fourth terrorist, Muhammad Subir Fayzov, confirmed the statements of his colleagues, saying: “After carrying out the attack, I had to go with Dallirjon to Kiev, where a reward of one million rubles was waiting for us for each of us.. Each of us knew that crossing the border would be difficult…” Saifullah said. “There will be young men waiting for us at the border who will help us cross it and reach Kiev.”
