Investigations by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Giza Security Directorate, under the supervision of Major General Medhat Fares, revealed; About new circumstances in the discovery of a female student slain inside her home in Osim Center, north of the governorate.
The inspection conducted by the detective officers, led by Major General Assem Abu al-Khair, deputy director of the Investigations, proved that the perpetrator stripped the 15-year-old victim of her clothes, as he found her naked.
Her body was also found lying on one side in the bedroom, with the entrances and exits of the apartment intact, which indicates that the perpetrator entered legally.
Initial investigations of the policemen indicated that the parents of the victim went out in the morning to collect garbage in the Zarayeb area, leaving their daughter alone at home.
The security men listened to the statements of the victim’s family to monitor any enmities between them and others, as well as reviewing the last visitors to the house by asking eyewitnesses and reviewing the surveillance cameras; coinciding with the discovery of the crime.
The details of the incident are due to Major General Amr Talaat, director of the North Sector, receiving a signal from the Emergency Police Department that the body of a middle school student in her twenties was found murdered inside her home in the village of Al-Barajil.
Colonel Marwan Musharraf, inspector of the Auseem and Al-Warraq Division, immediately moved to the location of the communication, accompanied by Major Ahmed Farhat and his assistants, Major Walid Kamal and Captain Ibrahim Farouk.
Major General Alaa Fathi, Director of Criminal Investigations in Giza, formed a research team headed by Brigadier Hani Sharawy, head of the North Sector, in coordination with the Public Security and Forensic Evidence Sector.
The research plan focused on hearing the statements of the victim’s family, the circumstances of discovering her eligibility for the crime, as well as reviewing the dead woman’s call record and unloading surveillance cameras with possible itineraries, while examining any differences between her family and others that amount to the commission of the incident.
The body was deposited in the Zeinhom morgue, the necessary report was released, and Major General Alaa Farouk, Director of Giza Security, referred it to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
