The perpetrator responsible for the murder and rape of a 7-year-old girl has been apprehended.

The case has taken a new turn with evidence suggesting that the little girl was murdered in her own house, rather than taken out through a window. The accused, a 33-year-old man known as “El Mono,” was arrested after evading authorities for 36 hours. Previous reports indicate that the suspect has a criminal history dating back to 2013, including charges for resisting authority and physical and domestic violence in 2014. Unofficial sources suggest that the suspect had been sexually abusing the victim for some time. Officials from the Bolivarian National Police recovered 15 marijuana wrappers and a machete, and accused the suspect of leading a dangerous gang. For 36 hours he was on the run, but in the end he was apprehended. In 2014, he was detained twice in a period of seven months, for physical and domestic violence.

From then on, he was always involved in different crimes, for which he “went in and out of jail” on several occasions.

He is known as alias “el Mono” and is the main person accused of the case that shocked the community of Los Taques in Falcón. Since her little girl was taken from her house at dawn for hours after she found her lifeless and with signs of having been sexually abused.

However, this version has begun to fall apart due to new indications.

The latest versions of the case state that the little girl was murdered in her own home by the subject, who apparently was involved with the girl’s stepmother and she saw “something unusual.”
