Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow in the Game of Thrones series, admitted that in 2019 he entered a rehabilitation center due to developing alcoholism. At the same time, the actor was also diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He shared this story on a health podcast called Hidden 20%.

Harington said he once entered rehab drunk, got sober and said, “Screw this, this is not for me. No thanks”. He decided to deal with his problems on his own.

“I realized that my life depended on it. Luckily, it was the right place at the right time. After that, I was able to start a new life,” Harrington said. The actor’s problems developed as filming of the series ended. He said that at the time of the podcast’s release, he had managed to cope with problems, including alcoholism, and was involved in raising his children – a two-year-old son and a six-month-old daughter.

Earlier it became known that HBO could work on a spin-off of the Game of Thrones series dedicated to Jon Snow. Kit Harington said he is ready to return to this role. Production on the show has not yet started.
