The series adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s bestseller “The Perfect Couple” will feature Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and Isabelle Adjani in its cast.
The perfect couple have found their perfect casting. The series “The Perfect Couple”, adapted from the novel by the queen of beach books Elin Hilderbrand, will see Nicole Kidman give the reply to Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and Isabelle Adjani.
According to Variety, the series will consist of six episodes and will dive behind the scenes of a wedding in an upscale family. “Amelia Sacks is regarding to marry the son of one of Nantucket’s wealthiest families. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famed novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, spared no expense planning what promises to be the grandest wedding of the season – until a body is found on the beach. As secrets are revealed, the stage is set for an investigation that seems pulled from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. So everyone is a suspect.
Eve Hewson and Billy Howle will play the future spouses. Dakota Fanning the groom’s sister, Liev Schreiber their father and Nicole Kidman their mother.
Isabelle Adjani, already seen on the small screen in particular in the series “Ten for Cent” and “Captain Marleau”, will hold the recurring role of Isabel Nallet, a friend of the family.
Both executive producers of the project, Jenna Lamia (“The Call”, “Akward”) will be showrunner and Susanne Bier (“Brothers”, “Revenge”) that of director.
Filming should start this week. The release date on Netflix has not been communicated.
