The pension funds sold all of their shares in Grupo Nutresa

According to the most recent detailed investment portfolio report of the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP), released through the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC), these entities sold all the shares they had in Grupo Nutresa during the OPA, either through the public market or the same offer. Until before the purchase, these companies had 17% of this issuer.

In the case of Sura, only Protección and Skandia remained with certain fractions. Between December and January they went from having 26.57 million to 10.09 million titles, which represents more than 2.15% participation. During the last month of the year, the four funds had 86.96 million species.

If you look at it in detail, the current position of the AFP Protection, which in turn is part of the Grupo Empresarial Antioqueño (GEA), has 9.67 million shares, more than 95% of the total investments of the funds in Investments Suramericana with cut to January 31 of this year. As for Skandia, this firm only has 420,000 papers; that is, 5% of the participation of this sector.

These numbers contrast with what the same companies reported to the regulatory body at the end of last year, when in the same investment management group, Colfondos had 12.75 million species; Future, 47.63 million; Protection 21.30 million and Skandia 5.27 million.
