Authors of a big second half of the season last year and qualified for the Playoffs for the first time in four years, the Pelicans had already surprised in 2022. With the return of Zion Williamson in uniform (and in form) and an experience an ever-growing collective, we wondered if the birds were going to take off at the top of the Conference and after a month and a half of competition, it’s quite simply a masterclass from the men of the Bayou. Solid in defence, efficient and spectacular in attack, with players who know their role to perfection, nice surprises that emerge (Trey Murphy and the confirmation Herb Jones) without forgetting a Willie Green who gives the impression of being in control for 15 years (no, it’s just its second year in fact), NOLA has been heading straight for the heights. But how far will they be able to go? We are talking about it.
