Yesterday Saturday in Dakar, Timothé Boissy, a former member of the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS), breathed his last. The late, who was a teacher by training, had held the position of secretary general of the PDS Departmental Federation of Ziguinchor in the 2000s.
For a period of regarding ten years, Timothé Boissy had worked as a Spanish teacher at the Amilcar Cabral medium and technical college in Ziguinchor. He had also been a deputy from 2002 to 2007, before returning to the National Assembly in 2010, replacing the late Georges Tendeng.

After the PDS lost power, Timothé Boissy retired from the political scene in Ziguinchor. He died at the age of 69.
