The PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 was cheaper than the PlayStation 5 version

The Last of Us Part 1 has generated controversy over the past few months for several reasons, chief among them being the fact that it’s a $70 game, despite what many consider it to be a very conservative remake (a game that doesn’t needed). However, on PC, it looks like the game will avoid that fate.

Sony and Naughty Dog recently announced at The Game Awards that the action-adventure remake would be coming to PC in March, a few months later, and it has since been revealed that the game will cost $20 less than its PS5 version. The Last of Us Part 1 is priced at $49.99 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. In Russia, the game is not available for purchase, but according to the Epic Gams Store, Sony wants 3,500 rubles for it – which is also much lower than the price tag that was asked for the console version.

To be honest, if the game came out for the same price on PS5, people would have a lot less problems with it. But such a difference in price, given the fact that not much time has passed between releases, can cause another wave of criticism and controversy.

The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PC on March 3, 2023. This became known today during The Game Awards.
