The spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has denied Imran Khan’s non-participation in the intra-party elections, while Imran Khan’s lawyer and PTI’s central vice-president has said that due to incompetence in the Tosha Khana case, the Chairman PTI Intra The party will not participate in the election.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf strongly denied the media reports on the issue of holding intra-party elections and participating in the elections for the new term of Chairman Imran Khan.

The senior leader claimed that the intra-party elections are being conducted on the orders of the Election Commission and on the instructions of Imran Khan, the decision of Imran Khan’s participation as chairman is yet to be decided.

The spokesperson of Tehreek-e-Insaaf said that all the important issues regarding the holding of intra-party elections are being considered, no decision has been taken on Chairman Imran Khan’s withdrawal from the elections or the nomination of any other leader.

The spokesman said that as soon as the leadership reaches a conclusion on all important issues including the holding of intra-party elections, date and procedure and selection of candidates, it will be officially released.

It should be noted that on the order of the Election Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has decided to hold intra-party elections on Saturday, December 2. Earlier, the news came out that Imran Khan has decided to resign from the post of chairman and he will not contest the elections for any post, while it was also reported that someone from the family of Chairman PTI is also in any post. Imran Khan’s lawyer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Central Vice President Sher Afzal Marwat Advocate clarified in a message on social media site X that Imran Khan has decided not to contest the PTI chairmanship election due to legal issues. Will not participate in intra-party elections.

Sher Afzal Marwat said that due to disqualification in the Toshakhana case, Imran Khan cannot contest the election legally, as soon as the disqualification decision is over from the court, Khan will be re-elected as PTI chairman.
