the coldness of Santiago it still permeates those who have had to listen to how he shot his parents and brother to death a week ago in Elche (Alicante). Santi has not shown sharp pain or any other kind, but he has calmly gone through a parricide who is supported solely and exclusively by his adolescent anger at being separated from technology and by the warning that he would have to collaborate in the field tasks on weekends following his bad grades.

Santi, 15, did not plan to end his family. Thus begins the account of the events to which EL MUNDO has had access. And the murders they happened by impulse, in a chain. According to him, each death was a consequence of the previous one except the first, that of his mother. Santi killed her because she called him “lazy” following failing five subjects, because he was going to force him to work on the terrace with his father on Saturdays and Sundays and because he wanted to leave him without wificomputer and game console.

He finished with his 10-year-old brother because of his fear that he would “reveal” him following surprising him finishing off his mother on the sofa and executed the father by concluding that when he came home from work and found out, he was going to be angry with him.

In his narration of what happened in the country house where they lived, he placed himself in the role of spectator and, from the scope that this objectivity gives, he has been clearing up doubt following doubt. Far from what can be assumed before a event of this scope, his story was not urgent, or rushed, or even emotional. It was a flat and detailed explanation. Also resounding. To question/answer. No reverses.

Santi He did not avoid any variable and abounded in everything that was raised to finish fastening an investigation that begins and ends with him. Especially shocking was the way in which told his aunt that he had murdered the family.

The discusin with her mother

He took a photograph of the corpses from his parents-he left his brother out of the shot-and showed it to him. “Look, I’ve killed them.” That was the end of the three days of coexistence with the corpses playing videogames uninterruptedly and usurping the personality of their parents in fluid communications by mobile with their contacts.

Santi knew that the following crimes It was the center for minors and, for this reason, he has pointed out in all his statements, he wanted to take advantage of the days when nobody knew what had happened to be “calm”.

On Tuesday, February 8, Santi and his mother argued. This year, the teenager had taken a radical turn in his academic performance. “You’re lazy, that’s enough,” he told her. “From now on, every weekend you go to work on the terrace with your father,” he added. Finally, he breaks down the punishment: no Wi-Fi, no game console or computer.

Santi he didn’t say anything. Her mother sat on the sofa and she began to watch television. He went upstairs and went to look for his father’s shotgun, kept in the armorer located at the top of the shawl, with the key within everyone’s reach, because he was fond of hunting small game. I went down and killed his mother with two shots.

Two shots at his brother

Hearing the shots, his brother entered the house and saw Santi with the gun in his hand. He turned to escape, but was struck down by two shots. “I killed him so he wouldn’t give me away,” I admitted in his statement.

After, took the two corpses to the family garage and waited for his father, who came home two hours later. When she heard the car, she braced herself behind the kitchen door to surprise him when he came in. As soon as he saw him, he shot him in the jaw.

The man, badly wounded, managed to snatch the shotgun from him, leave it in the corridor and reach the bathroom while saying “but what have you done?”. Santi picked up the gun once more and shot him two more times in the bathroom. “I killed him because I knew he was going to be angry,” he said, when he discovered that he had murdered his mother and his brother.

Before moving the body out of the house, Santi took his cell phone to send a whatsapp to his boss. Pretending to be him, he told her that the next day he was not going to go to work because he had Covid. After sending the message, he took her father to her mother and her brother and went back into the house to clean it. Finally, he showered, made dinner, and locked himself in his room to play video games.

“Don’t disturb them, they are sleeping”

He stayed like that for three days, until Friday the 11th. During that time, his father’s boss asked his employee several times to send him the sick leave, but Santi always answered on behalf of his father that he still did not have the results of the PCR.

He also spoke on behalf of his mother with his aunt, who began to get impatient with the fact that his sister responded to his WhatsApp messages, but did not pick up the phone. This was the reason why on Friday followingnoon, accompanied by a friend, she went to the house. Santi saw them on the other side of the fence.

“Don’t bother them, they’re sleeping,” he said to the questions. Her aunt threatened to call the police if she didn’t see them. The teenager went in and out with his father’s cell phone in hand. He walked over to the fence and showed her the screen. It was a photo of the corpses of his parents. “Look, I’ve killed them,” zanj. The police arrived, Santi told them that he had killed them and he no longer took off his father’s robe that he put on following the crimes.
