The text calls for the “immediate cessation of this aggression which constitutes a violation of international law, the sovereignty and integrity of the country and a threat to peace, stability and security inside and outside the ‘Europe’.
The French-speaking Parliament also supports the recent United Nations resolution requiring Russia to put an immediate end to its military activities on all of “internationally recognized” Ukrainian territory.
The text also asks the government of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation to support the effort to welcome Ukrainian refugees.
The resolution was approved by the entire assembly, with the exception of the PTB opposition, which abstained.
