Al-Qassam added, “As soon as the (Israeli) rescue forces advanced to the place and reached the middle of a pre-prepared minefield, they were targeted by detonating 3 anti-personnel devices.”
Al-Qassam continued, in a later post, that its fighters “confirmed that 6 soldiers were killed and turned into pieces, and the event is still ongoing in the Al-Zinna area, east of the city of Khan Yunis.”
It pointed out that its fighters were able to “target the rescue forces and soldiers who fled the place and barricaded themselves in one of the houses surrounding the Al-Hadath area with an anti-personnel device, and they confirmed that 3 soldiers were killed and turned into pieces, and a number of others were injured.”
Thus, the number of Israeli army deaths in the Zinna area reached 9 soldiers, according to the circular.
The Brigades also announced the targeting of a Zionist Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 missile, and “targeting a Zionist foot force with an anti-personnel device, killing and wounding its members, and landing a helicopter to evacuate them in the Al-Amal neighborhood area, in the city of Khan Yunis.”

On the other hand, the Israeli army said in a brief statement yesterday, Saturday: “Two army soldiers from the 46th Battalion in the 401st Brigade were seriously injured this morning (Saturday) in battles in the central Gaza Strip.
The army did not say exactly where the two soldiers were injured.
Since the events of last October 7, 3,193 Israeli soldiers have been injured, including 1,552 who have been injured since the beginning of the ground war on the 27th of the same month.
Since the beginning of the events, 600 soldiers have been killed, including 256 since the beginning of the ground battles, according to official statistics of the Israeli army.
Israel continues the war despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council, on Monday, demanding an immediate ceasefire during the month of Ramadan, and also despite its first appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing crimes of “genocide.”
