The Pakistan Cricket Board has released the schedule of the national cricket team’s tour of New Zealand. A series of three T20 and two Test matches will be played between the two teams.
The first match of Pakistan New Zealand T20 series will be played on December 18 at 7 pm local time at Eden Park Cricket Ground.
The second T20 match between the two teams will be played on December 20 at Cosdon Park Cricket Ground at 11 am local time.
The third T20 match of the series will be played on December 22 at the Napier Cricket Ground at 7 pm local time.
The first match of the Test series will be played at the Bay Oval Cricket Ground from December 26 to 30. In the second test match, both teams will face each other from January 3 to 7 and this match will be played at Hogley Oval Cricket Ground.
The Pakistan squad will leave for New Zealand from Lahore on November 23. After arriving in New Zealand, the national team will have to spend 14 days in quarantine. During this time, the squad will have to live in a bio-secure bubble while they will not be able to participate in any cricket activities.
In the points table of the ICC World Test Championship, the team of New Zealand is at the fourth position and Pakistan at the fifth position. There is a difference of 14 points between the two teams.
