A solo exhibition of paintings by Nikos Nikolaos opens on Thursday, April 4 at 8 pm at Polyhedros.
The exhibition will last until Saturday, April 20.
Nikos Nikolaou was born in Patras and attended painting lessons in the workshop of Spyros Sokaris. He has had a continuous artistic presence since 1985 with individual and participation in group exhibitions. His works are in private collections and in public places inside and outside Greece.
The painting of Nikos Nikolaos conveys the sensuous searches of the creator in the detection of the levels of writing and action. His spectral abstract landscapes of vision are presented as palimpsest surfaces dominated by the dialogue of light and shadow, color tones and semitones which are internally summarized by intensities, depressions and juxtapositions of rhythmic formations.
