At the end of October, Mayte Rodríguez confirmed with her fans on social networks the painful death of her dog Naomi, who had recently battled a delicate cancer.
For this reason, this Thursday the actress vented her feelings and, through a video she shared on Instagram, told details of how she has faced her loss.
“First of all, I want to thank each of you for all the affection and love. She has helped me to be able to inject myself with energy and learn to let go of this loss of Naomi, who for me is another member of the family,” she indicated in the record.
And along those same lines, he added: “it has been very painful, but I have my son who has been a driving force to be able to move forward and continue smiling; and I have you, who I have made part of.”
“That is why I am recording this video, because I think it is important to tell you a little not only what I felt and what happened to me when I realized that she had a tumor, but also how the days went by since I I found out,” he added.
Later, Mayte revealed that in the midst of the distressing situation, two professionals recommended that Naomi undergo chemotherapy. However, the furry girl reacted badly to the treatment and over the days her condition worsened. Added to that were kidney problems, pancreatitis and anemia.

In addition, the model pointed out the treatment she received at a cancer center, which she also accused of making an erroneous evaluation of her pet.
“It was very impersonal… it is a wake-up call to doctors. I did other exams there, where I felt that they did not respect the pain I had… it was all very fast, very cold,” she said.
“I felt sad (…) confused, because no one warned me that this might happen. I never imagined that I would lose it looking for the solution. It is important that people inform themselves, ask questions and know all the risks,” said Rodríguez.
“Naomi transferred all her peace to me when she left. Am I sorry? Yes… Am I going to experience a duel? Yes, but I have her peace in my heart… and I am with my family, supported,” she concluded, obviously affected.
