The other two minors at high risk for malnutrition were transferred from the indigenous reservation to the Ituango hospital

In a coordinated effort by the Government of Antioquia with the health authorities of Ituango, the two children who remained in the Jaidukama indigenous community of the municipality have been transferred to the local hospital to receive medical treatment.

The situation became known when a health brigade arrived at the shelter and detected the conditions of the minors. The distance of the shelter, located two days from the city center, has made access to essential medical services difficult, which led to the activation of emergency protocols to transfer them to medical centers.
