The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has just sealed new partnerships for the launch of two promotional operations in the distribution networks of the Carrefour Voyages and Havas Voyages groups from April 1, 2022.
In addition to the partnerships forged with the major airlines and the leading tour operators on the French market, the ONMT has also set itself the objective of investing in the most important distribution networks, the Office said in a press release. . This through the personalization of their agency networks in the colors of the Morocco product in order to encourage French travelers to put Morocco at the top of the list of their favorite destinations to discover or rediscover.
For the general manager of the ONMT, Adel El Fakir, “it is important for us today to stimulate our sales force to be closer to our potential customers. Carrefour Voyages and Havas Voyages are leading travel distributors in their field. These partnerships are therefore important and strategic in our mission to win back our main markets”.
In this perspective, two promotional operations will be launched respectively from April 1 to April 22 and from June 1 to June 28 on the sales networks of the two groups.
These are promotional devices targeting both professionals, through the promotion of Morocco on the various internal platforms of travel agents, and the general public via a major device for customizing physical or virtual travel agencies.
Also, the ONMT in partnership with Carrefour voyages and Havas voyages, has planned training operations on the Morocco product for more than 600 sales experts, who will thus be able to immerse themselves in the richness of the Moroccan tourist offer and its new trendy destinations.
By attacking the distribution networks, the ONMT touches an important link in the prescription and distribution of travel in France, and thus confirms the reconquest of its first tourist market to officially hoist Morocco among the leading destinations post -pandemic.
