Gleaming bodies and chrome shields met on Saturday at Landeron. After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the old town has returned to one of its traditional events: The Landeron Classic. More than 120 vehicles of yesteryear, and of all brands, willingly lent themselves to the photographic demands of the public, before carrying out the traditional ride in the region from 2 p.m.
However, the route has been modified due to work on the Saint-Jean bridge. The parade will go to the heights of Lignières. A competition will follow to award the rarest, most original and best restored vehicles.
This year, the organization has invited the Simca Club Suisse, originally founded in Geneva, but now established in Lucerne. /dsa
