The gaming community was finally able to marvel at the first gameplay material from “Hogwarts Legacy”. Avalanche Software presented a total of 14 minutes of game scenes at the State of Play, in which the various gameplay elements were presented.
Today’s State of Play is over. There was a total of 14 minutes of gameplay footage from the PS5 version of “Hogwarts Legacy”. With the help of these scenes, fans might finally get a detailed impression of the upcoming open world RPG. These are the first game scenes since announcement trailer in September 2020.
Explore Hogwarts and other well-known locations
At the beginning, the player creates his own magician. He then attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 19th century. Later, one of the developers shared that replicating the magic school was an enormous challenge. After all, the building is huge.
An important theme of the gameplay premiere was the combat system. Watch as the player uses a variety of spells to battle imaginative creatures. So that you can heal or strengthen yourself in sticky situations, you have to make useful potions in Hogwarts.
As it should be in a role-playing game, all values can be upgraded and useful skills unlocked. And to be mobile in the open game world, you can, unsurprisingly, use a flying broom. You can not only explore the iconic magic school, but also the surrounding landscapes. In the trailer we see the village of Hogsmeade as an example, where exclusive activities await you.
