The nurse accused of filming the corpse of “Nira Ashraf” reveals the reason for the leak of the video

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptian nurse accused of filming the assassinated Mansoura student, Naira Ashraf, revealed the scenes of the leaked video, admitting that she filmed the victim’s body inside the mortuary, noting that she filmed it to document the jewelry she wears so that it is not stolen in the crowd.

The nurse said that she filmed the video the moment Naira entered the hospital, not for the purpose of healing, promoting it, or encroaching on the sanctity of the dead, but to monitor the jewelry she was wearing to remove suspicion or accuse the crew of stealing any of her belongings.

In her confessions, she indicated that she was the one who sent the clip of Naira’s body to her two colleagues, “M. A.”, residing in Mait Khamis, and “AM”, residing in Kafr Badawi, but she does not know how the video was leaked.

The Mansoura Prosecution Office in the Egyptian governorate of Dakahlia had issued a ruling to imprison 3 of the nursing staff at Mansoura General Hospital for 4 days pending investigations, on charges of filming Naira’s body and leaking the video. Extensive on social networking sites and demands to reveal the identity of the photographer of the clip and prosecute him.
