The death toll from the explosion in the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan has increased, the bodies of five people have been removed from the rubble. This was announced by the press secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia Hayk Kostanyan.

“Rescuers removed the body of a woman regarding 50 years old from under the rubble. Rescuers have just pulled out the body of the fifth victim from under the rubble. The identities of two of them have not been established,” the representative of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations wrote on social networks.

Previously in the pyrotechnics warehouse in the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan there was an explosion. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reported that a person died during the emergency.
