The Ministry of Public Health announced, in its daily report, that 5,596 new cases of the new coronavirus (Covid 19) were registered yesterday, bringing the cumulative number of infections since February 21, 2020, to 858,848.

She explained that “5432 injuries were recorded among residents and 164 cases among expats,” noting that “14 new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,474.” And she stated that “the number of hospitalizations yesterday is 692, of whom 344 are in intensive care.”

And the ministry had stated in its report yesterday, that “the number of hospitalizations yesterday is 690, of whom 358 are in intensive care.”
