Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health has decided to increase the number of health centers in the country and reduce the waiting time of patients. The Ministry of Health said that with the opening of new clinics, it will be possible to provide better treatment facilities to the people. The main objective is to reduce congestion in hospitals and clinics. At present there is a huge rush of patients in many places. Special clinics will be started in general medicine, urology, gynaecology, dental, psychology, ENT and paediatrics. With this, it is hoped that the number of patients can be controlled.
Primary health centers will also be equipped with state-of-the-art technology systems for diagnosis and treatment. In order to improve the quality of the health sector, many projects such as complete digitization and improving the performance of health workers were implemented under the leadership of the Ministry. The authorities also held constant discussions with the hospital staff. Necessary measures will also be taken to compensate for the shortfall in the number of doctors and staff in hospitals. Efforts are also underway to completely transfer the treatment of expatriates to the Health Insurance Hospitals Company (DHAMAN). Dhaman is expected to open by the end of this year.
