A press release announced the production of an anime adaptation of the light novels written by Suzu Miyama and illustrated by Hotosouka, Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou Sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau (The Beast Tamer Exiled from the the Hero’s Party and the Cat Eared Girl from the Strongest Race Meet). The press release confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for next October in Japan and revealed the production team.
Suzu Miyama y Hotosouka they began publishing the light novels through the imprint K Ranobe Bunko of Kodansha in May 2019. The work is being adapted to manga by the artist Moto Shigemurawhich is published through the service Manga UP! from the publisher Square Enix since January 2019.

The beast tamer Rein, who uses animals, was a member of the hero’s party. However, since he couldn’t do anything else, he wasn’t able to keep up with the pace of the battle. “You only know how to play with animals. You are fired”. Rein is kicked out of the group and now lives freely as an adventurer. On his journey, he meets a girl from a cat tribe, the so-called strongest species.
