The Nintendo Switch 14.1.0 system update is now live, here are the full patch notes

Nintendo just released a new firmware update for the Switch. It upgrades the system to version 14.1.0.

According to the Nintendo support page, Nintendo has added “Platinum Points notification settings” under Notifications in the Switch system settings. The official patch notes go into more detail:

Added “Platinum Points Notification Settings” under Notifications in System Settings.

  • Unclaimed Platinum Points earned by completing Nintendo Switch Online tasks on a Nintendo Switch console will generate notifications.
  • Set these notifications to Handicapped It will hide the notification sent when there are unclaimed Platinum Points.

This update comes following last month, which added the Groups feature to the list of programs and made some adjustments to the Bluetooth volume.
