After her latest musical hit with Bizarrap, Shakira has once once more been on everyone’s lips. However, many of her fans still prefer her songs dating back to the 1990s. What would ‘Music Sessions #53’ have sounded like 30 years ago? A producer asked himself the same question and created a version that became viral in TikTok.
since it was released ‘Music Sessions #53′, the subject has gone viral on social networks and has served to be parodied or promoted by different programs, as happened in Spain and Colombia.
This time, a very popular producer on TikTok created the 90s version of Shakira’s hit and the result was received in the best way by the Colombian’s fans. Kristian Bob (@mr.bob1898), who made various musical arrangements, replaced the electronic beats of Bizarrap with sounds of guitar and drums that characterized the style of the coffee artist in the nineties.
“Much better than the original”
The clip was posted by Kristian Bob on January 14 of this year, three days following the release of ‘Music Sessions #53’, and has already surpassed half a million views. Users received this version in the best way and asked him to share the full song.
A day later, the producer pleased his followers and posted the video on his YouTube channel.
“I need Shakira to record this version officially”, “The version we needed”, “Much better than the original, I like it when it doesn’t lose the classic instrumental quality”, were some of the comments.

Why is Shakira so famous?
Apart from the media scandal caused by her collaboration with the Argentine producer Bizarrap on a song that addresses her separation from Gerard Piqué, father of her two youngest children, the product of an alleged infidelity, Shakira is generally credited with introducing Latino artists to pop music. The New York Times named the Colombian artist “The titan of Latin pop” for being the most outstanding of the aforementioned musical genre for more than three decades.
What are ‘BZRP Music Sessions’?
The BZRP Music Sessions are an episodic segment of the Bizarrap YouTube channel in which the final result of the musical creation between a guest artist and the Argentine producer is shown. The music videos are always filmed in a recording studio similar to the one Bizarrap has in his native Argentina.
