The formula, it is known, is already a successful brand insured. And the new edition of the Night of the Museumsthis Saturday from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m., had the expected response, with a crowd visiting the almost 300 places offered throughout the City.
From early on, the open sites especially welcomed neighbors and tourists, attracted by the different activities scheduled for all ages, to enjoy with family or friends.
Spectators were able to select the rides of their interest, whose programming was organized into 4 main routes: Historical Circuit, Central Circuit, Libertador Circuit and Belgrano Circuit, with special proposals for children and to enjoy as a family.
Once once more, the Buenos Aires public and tourists enjoyed the extensive lineup of cultural shows, with the possibility of visiting museums, emblematic buildings and cultural spaces of the different Buenos Aires communes at an unusual time.
“More than 290 museums and public and private cultural spaces in the City will open their doors so that residents and tourists can enjoy a unique experience for free. We invite you to come and learn regarding the special programming of each space. We hope it will be a moment meeting from culture, a different night to go out, discover and enjoy the cultural heritage of the City,” said Enrique Avogadro, Minister of Culture of Buenos Aires, in advance of the busy day.
Among the new features this year, it is worth mentioning the opening of 38 new spaces to visit, for example the new Museum of Imagination and Play (MIJU), the first recreational space in the City of Buenos Aires designed and designed for young people up to 12 years.
Malba, one of the epicenters of the cultural day, made available to spectators the two exhibitions that are on display at the moment: Third Eye. Costantini Collection in Malba (with more than 220 iconic works of Latin American art) and There will be none like itan anthological exhibition by Edgardo Giménez, which covers more than sixty years of his artistic repertoire.
