Motorola is said to be presenting a new foldable smartphone. It goes by the codename “Maven”. Evan Blass Laut Sea is a flagship-class device with top specifications, which is expected to be released in the summer. The all-new Maven looks more like the Galaxy Z Flip3 than the Razr or Razr 5G, Blass said.
It’s a bit more boxy than its predecessors and tries to improve the image quality of the two rear cameras Samsung did it on the flip. These cameras reportedly include a 50-megapixel main photographer with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a combined wide-angle and macro sensor with a native resolution of 13 MP. The selfie camera on the inner FHD+ foldable display is a 32 MP module.
There will be different storage configurations consisting of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. According to the area, Motorola originally planned to offer two versions of the phone: one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and another with the as yet unannounced Plus variant of this chipset (SM8475). However, since there have been delays in the delivery of the latter SoC, it is not clear what Motorola will do next.
Personally speaking: there are a few foldables, none of which attracts me and offers me any added value.
