Good news The new Xiaomi POCO smartphones are already on sale!
Presented only a few days ago at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona and already available for sale since March 2, the new Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G smartphones and the M4 Pro in 4G version benefit from a 30€ discount on Amazon for their launch.
Expected successor of the Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro, the POCO X4 Pro finally arrives
It is therefore not one, but two entry-mid-range smartphones that Xiaomi unveiled at the MWC earlier this week in Barcelona. If the POCO M4 Pro is above all a reissue of the M4 Pro 5G released last November, the X4 Pro 5G has the difficult task of succeeding the very popular POCO X3 Pro which made the brand’s heyday last year.
A true flagship killer, the POCO X3 Pro had only one real competitor in this segment, namely its little brother the F3 Pro which pushed the sliders even further. This year, with the POCO X4 Pro 5G, Xiaomi intends to show that it is still the king of value for money.

To do this, Xiaomi has pulled out all the stops with a very nice 6.67 inch AMOLED screen in Full HD+ with a very pleasant refresh rate of 120 Hz. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processorthis one is good compatible 5G, unlike the X3 Pro which was content with 4G. For the RAM, count on 8 GB as well as on a 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Among the other strong points of the POCO X4 Pro we note the presence of a 5000mAH battery coupled to a very fast charging of 67W as well as particular care given to photography with the presence of a triple photo module including a 108 megapixel main sensor. The other two sensors display 8 Mpx for the ultra wide-angle, 2 Mpx for the macro and finally 16 Mpx for the selfies.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro returns in an even more affordable 4G version
Second smartphone offered, the POCO M4 Pro which returns in a new version only 5 months following its launch. Besides some minor aesthetic changes, the main difference concerns the change of processor which goes from a Dimensity 810 5G to a MediaTek Helio G96 which is content with 4G. The interest here is to offer an even more affordable version for this entry-level smartphone that can now be found from €199.
For the rest of the characteristics of the POCO M4 Pro we note the presence of a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Two models are offered, a first with 6 GB of RAM + 128 GB of memory at €199 instead of €229 and a second with 8 GB of RAM + 256 GB of memory at €249 instead of €279.
Here the triple photo module is content with a 64 Mpx wide-angle main sensor coupled with an 8 Mpx ultra wide-angle and a 2 Mpx macro. For the selfie camera, count 16 Mpx on this model as well.
Unlike the X4 Pro, the M4 Pro is content with a 33W fast charger, which remains comfortable and allows a full charge in less than 1h30. For the rest, know that both smartphones are NFC compatible, Bluetooth 5.1, have a 3.5 jack and an additional Micro SD port to increase overall storage.
