After the leaks, here are the first official photos of the new Tesla Model 3. The electric car is evolving aesthetically and also in terms of certain elements. Up front, the lines are sharper. This new design would allow better air penetration to increase the autonomy of the car. The Model 3 is slightly longer than the previous one with 2.5 centimeters more. Ground clearance has been reduced by two centimeters. Many elements of the Tesla have also been updated. According to the brand, half of the parts of the car would have been replaced. This is particularly the case for the rear windows which are laminated. They provide better sound insulation and increase safety if the windows break. In the same spirit and to better insulate both acoustically and thermally, the glass of the roofing has been doubled. The same goes for the vehicle’s cabin, with an interior lined with sound-absorbing materials.
Tesla Model 3: more autonomy thanks to a new line
Redesigned, the front seats are now ventilated and heated. The steering wheel loses its side controls, the central screen has grown and an 8-inch screen is available at the rear. Under the center console, you can put two phones to charge them wirelessly. However, despite these reinforcements, the weight changes little. The Tesla weighs only nine kilos more (1,761 kilos). On the other hand, the “Great Autonomy” version loses weight. And precisely, concerning autonomy, the new aesthetic line would make it possible to reach 553 kilometers for the “Propulsion” version. The “Great Autonomy” version would peak at 678 kilometers. The increase is substantial compared to the old model. It is already possible to order the Model 3 for delivery in October. The price is 42,490 euros. It climbs to 50,990 euros for the “Great Autonomy” version.

The iconic Tesla Model 3 turned seven earlier this year, and lately rumors have been swirling regarding a new version in the works. Known as Project Highlandit would bring its share of novelties and according to the latest information, the manufacture of the new Tesla Model 3 would already be started.
According to Chris Zheng on X (formerly Twitter), the Giga Shanghai factory reportedly began rotating production of the current version of the Model 3 with the Project Highland, to switch entirely to the new version in two weeks. Photographer Colin W. managed to take photos of a prototype of a Tesla Model 3 « Project Highland in the wild in California, with the front and rear covered to reveal nothing of the novelties.
The new computer for the HW4 autopilot with a front camera
Thanks to different leaks, some of the features of this new version are known. One of the novelties is a battery with greater capacity, going from 60 kWh to 66 kWh, which would increase the range from 510 kilometers to 550 kilometers. The car would feature HW4, the latest version of the autonomous driving computer, with high-definition cameras, including one integrated into the front bumper. Rumors also point to new headlights, RGB mood lights, and a focus on using recycled materials.
For now, all information is only rumors since Tesla has not confirmed anything. However, according to these same sources, the price of Project Highland would remain the same as for the Tesla Model 3 current.
