The U.S. Embassy in Mexico announced the call for applications for a scholarship that offers a training stay at the University of Oklahoma, also known as OU.
This is the ‘Combating Disinformation 2024’ scholarship, a seminar for Mexican students and professionals with an intermediate/high level of English.
The initiative aims to help selected candidates develop skills that will allow them to “face the negative effects of misinformation” through three-week classes.

How does it work and until when can Mexicans apply?
The first part of the course will be taught virtually.
However, in the last week the students will go to the facilities of Oklahoma State University in the USA.
Although this is a short stay, it is an excellent opportunity for those who want to visit this important university in Oklahoma.
The course is scheduled to take place from July 15 to August 5, 2024, and only applicants who complete their application correctly will be able to attend.
