Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced that the new PlayStation Plus service originally scheduled to be launched in June is now confirmed to be launched in selected Asian markets including Taiwan on May 23 ahead of schedule, followed by Japan on June 1 and June 13. Launched in the US on June 22 and in Europe on June 22.
In addition, the PlayStation cloud streaming service will also expand its service area, providing streaming access rights to 30 regions. And cooperate with the open synchronization of cloud streaming service to provide PS Plus premium membership level plan. Regions new to PlayStation Cloud Streaming include: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
The new PS Plus service is a new service that expands the existing PS Plus service with game subscription service and cloud streaming service. It is expected to provide four levels of service plans: basic, upgraded, premium/advanced, in addition to the existing PS Plus connection. In addition to online play, monthly free games, and cloud archive services, it also provides hundreds of PS4 / PS5 latest games and PS1 / PS2 / PS3 / PSP classic games download / online play services.
