The new ‘Nosferatu’ trailer brings back one of the greatest vampire myths in history

It’s going to be an autumn full of bloodsuckers, and at the premiere on MAX in a few days of ‘The Mystery of Salem’s Lot’, a new adaptation of Stephen King’s work, the revision of the vampire classic will also hit the big screen between classics, ‘Nosferatu’. With Bill Skarsgard (‘It’, ‘The Raven’), already established in bloody cinema in general as Count Orlok, his new trailer hides more from us than it shows, betting on a mystery that will become more explicit in the film complete.

That does not mean that there is no blood in this new preview of a film that will focus on the relationship between the evil count and Ellen Hutter, played by Lilly Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. Along with Skarsgad and the young actress we will find Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor in ‘Superman’), who returns to vampire movies after being Nicholas Cage’s assistant in ‘Reinfeld’, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin (Cassandra Nova in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (‘Kraven the Hunter’).

The original film dates back to no less than 1922, so it can be considered that this is a necessary remake. In turn, that one was based on Bram Stoker’s work, ‘Dracula’, which has seen numerous adaptations, some of them very free and alternative such as ‘Dracula: The Untold Legend’, with Luke Evans and which could be considered the adaptation unofficial video game ‘Castlevania: Lords of Shadow’.

‘Nosferatu’ premieres on December 25.
