Thirteen years later, work on the New Mestalla might resume in the autumn thanks to money from the agreement between the British investment fund CVC and the League. This is at least the promise of Valencia CF, which, in December, presented to the Generalitat Valenciana and the City Council a draft of the proposal it is preparing to complete the stadium, and which it has promised to deliver now complete in the coming weeks. If the new design is finalized and approved by the administration, the field might be completed by 2024.
