Right in front of the Klaipėda summer stage, at the address Liepojos st. 10, the shop, located in the morning, surprised the customers who came to shop with its spaciousness and modernity, as well as the basically arranged environment.
At the beginning of this year, after the demolition of the two X Maxima stores on Liepoja Street and the unfinished brick building next to it, the construction of the new modern store began.

The total area of the new store is 2476 square meters. m, of which 1683 sq. m are allocated for trade. Compared to the previous store, the current sales area of the hall has increased by over 400 square meters. m.
The newly erected store building consists of two floors, on the first floor of which there is a shopping hall, where “Eurovaistinė” also operates.
For the convenience of buyers and the surrounding residents, the city infrastructure was also taken care of during the construction of the store – the sidewalk, bicycle path along Liepoja Street was renovated, and the parking lot was more spacious than before, where 40 parking spaces are allocated for “Maximas” customers. There are also three newly installed charging stations for electric cars at the site.
In addition, during the construction, surrounding trees were preserved and more green space appeared – the southern side of the building’s facade is planted with plants.
A total of 45 employees work in the new store, the vast majority of whom are long-term employees and know the needs of customers very well. They will help customers solve the questions that have arisen both in the sales hall and at the checkouts.
This “Maxima” has a total of 16 cash registers – 4 regular and 12 modern, new generation, self-service cash registers. “When implementing new self-service cash registers in the store, the main focus is on a positive shopping experience for the customer. These modern self-service cash registers are more convenient due to their larger screen, spaciousness and due to the updated payment process for goods, which ensures faster and smoother payment”, says the representative of the shopping network.
