The D23 convention, which was held from September 9 to 11, 2022, was an opportunity for Disney studios to unveil the list of their next exclusive films and series. Among the trailers that have been released is that of Secret Invasionone of the new series of the Marvel universe, created by Kyle Bradstreet (Borgia, Mr. Robot).
We find in the trailer a rather paranoid Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) who is convinced that an alien invasion will soon take place on Earth… And if he was right? We can indeed see in the first distressing images a Skrull, a race known for its powers of metamorphosis. They can therefore hide among any population, which seems to be the major problem of this new series. Will Nick Fury and his allies succeed (once once more) in saving our planet?

An actress from Game of Thrones and another from The Crown integrate the MCU
Secret Invasion welcomes well-known characters from the Marvel universe such as Nick Fury, Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) or Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman). We will also meet two new faces, played by famous actresses: Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones, Solo : A Star Wars Story) and Olivia Colman (The Crown, La Favorite). However, we do not know what their roles will be in this new plot.
The first episodes of the series will be broadcast on Disney+ in 2023. We currently have no precise information regarding the launch date. In the meantime, you can discover the trailer for Secret Invasion just here :
