Display industry analyst Ross Young has predicted that the new iPhone SE might begin production this month and final assembly is expected in March.
On the basis of that timeline, Young believes that the third-generation iPhone SE will be released in late April. Or the latest will be in early May because the previous iPhone SE was also launched during this period, with the first iPhone SE released in March 2016, followed by the 2nd model in April 2020.
Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman also posted on his Twitter account that Apple may also be launching a new iPhone SE and new devices at the beginning of the year. Similar to last year’s event, it took place on April 20 to unveil the AirTag, iPad Pro, 24-inch iMac, M1 chip, Apple TV 4K, as well as the purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.
The specifications of the 3rd generation iPhone SE will look the same, with a 4.7-inch screen and use the A15 Bionic chip and support 5G.
