The new iPad Air embeds the M1 chip!

The rumors were right: Apple presented a new model of iPad Air tonight. No big changes, it is mainly the performance that is boosted because the tablet inherits the M1 chip that was already found in the iPad Pro. The CPU offers 60% more performance compared to the previous generation, while the GPU is twice as fast.

Other novelties: the iPad Air inherits the centered frame mode, which allows you to follow the subject, while the front camera goes to 12 MPX. There will also be 5G connectivity, which is very practical on the move, as well as a new USB-C port twice as fast as before.

The design has not changed but we will note the appearance of a new blue color (which is added to space gray, starlight and pink, mauve). We keep the same screen for the same price and the same storage envelopes: 64 GB or 256 GB, always without in-between. The accessories remain the same (Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil 2). This iPad Air can be ordered from Friday, March 11.
