The new head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council addresses all the Yemeni people and promises them to end the war

Al-Marsad newspaper: Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, said, “The Presidential Leadership Council pledges God and pledges to the Yemeni people that it will preserve the constitution and national constants. The Council also affirms its full commitment to the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue and the Riyadh Agreement (and the contents of the outcomes of the Yemeni consultations). – Yemen held in Riyadh under the auspices of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf).

In his speech directed to all the Yemeni people at home and abroad, President Al-Alimi added, “The Presidential Leadership Council affirms its commitment to the provisions of international law, international norms and UN resolutions, and works to spare Yemen the ambitions of the greedy (those who target its Arabism and its social and geographical fabric) and that it works to give priority to the national interest over He bears all interests and bears your concerns, hopes, sufferings and ambitions, and puts in mind the work to achieve your demands and makes every effort to address the political, economic, social and security challenges in all parts of our beloved Yemen (North and South) without discrimination and in all Yemeni regions without exception.

He pointed out that the Presidential Command Council promises the Yemeni people to work to end the war and establish peace…pointing out that the Council is a peace council, not a war council, but it is also a defense, strength and unity council whose mission is to defend the sovereignty of the country and protect citizens.

President Al-Alimi affirmed that the Presidential Command Council will stand as an impenetrable dam to confront terrorism in all its forms, and will work to combat the extraneous sectarian conflicts on our Yemeni society, which are destroying us, dividing our gathering, and fragmenting our social fabric so that our Yemeni people can live as brothers under the umbrella of law and achieve equality and justice for all in the state of law and order. A modern civil society that preserves the basic rights of Yemenis to freedom, dignity, and improved living for all members of society (through a comprehensive peace process that ensures that all achieve their legitimate goals and aspirations).
