In order to offer spectators an ever safer and more quality event, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest has decided, on the occasion of this 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, to make several changes concerning access to the circuit.
Access paths
- The large circuit (closure of departmental roads) will be activated, continuously:
- – Sunday, June 5: from 3:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- – From Wednesday, June 8, 3:30 a.m. to Sunday, June 12, 5:30 p.m.
- The RD 92 will be open to access the ZAC du Cormier on the following time slots:
- – Wednesday, June 8: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- – Thursday June 9: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- – Friday, June 10: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Access doors
- From Sunday 5 June, the North gate of the circuit (Museum of the 24 Hours) will be 100% pedestrian. This is in order to offer an event that is always more pleasant for the spectators.
- The Tertre Rouge gate will only be accessible by vehicle. Spectators (pedestrians) are thus invited to go to the East gate, by tram or on foot (see map below), in order to benefit from a new spectator experience, which will be presented in the next few days.
Parkings
- The free Bleu and Raineries (aerodrome) car parks will be activated from Wednesday 8 June in the morning.
- People with reduced mobility will benefit from access to the Chinetti car park and support from the LADAPT association. The latter, located as close as possible to the North Gate of the circuit, is part of the ACO’s desire to improve the reception conditions for people with reduced mobility.
- The parking tickets will cover both the Test Day and the week of the event. There is no specific title for the Test Day.
The ACO is eager to reconnect with its public, without gauge, from the Test Day scheduled for Sunday June 5, 2022.
The track open to the public!
On Friday June 10, 2022, the day before the start of the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a brand new event will be offered to spectators and residents of Sarthe.
