As part of the launch of tvOS 16.2 operating systems, iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2 and macOS Ventura 13.1, a new version of the Apple TV application is offered. Quite upset, some users of the Reddit social network have criticized this new interface, like Sean310 who deplores: “I absolutely hate the new format. And they go straight to previews with audio. WTF Apple? The next menu is now tiny and easy to skip over (intentionally). And when you’re on the Up Next line, Apple TV+ shows take up 85% of the screen below. It really sucks. Apple really needs to recover. »
Same story on the side of jason_ferguson who adds: “It’s TERRIBLE, especially since even before the change, the whole app looked like an advertisement for Apple TV+ content. Now it is absolutely unusable. Two whole tabs devoted to Apple TV+… it’s shameful. »
For its part, WikiWikiWhat laments : “Same thing, mine was updated last night and I feel like a huge rollback. I no longer feel like a premium product, but rather a cheap platform. I would like to at least have the option to go back to the old “next” display”.
Go back to the old version of Apple TV?
