The new aid package from Germany includes the latest Skynex air defense complex

On April 29, the German government announced that it had handed over another package of military aid to Ukraine. By message of the German government, the package includes the Skynex anti-aircraft artillery complex developed and manufactured by the Rheinmetall company, as well as missiles for air defense systems and ammunition for anti-aircraft installations Gepard, which will contribute to the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense.

The package includes:

  • complex Skynex with ammunition;
  • missiles for air defense systems Iris-T SLM;
  • ammunition for tanks Leopard 2;
  • almost 30 thousand ammunition for anti-aircraft guns Cheetah;
  • 7,500 artillery ammunition of 155 mm caliber;
  • 10 armored personnel carriers Marder with ammunition and spare parts;
  • bridging tank Pepper with spare parts;
  • engineering machine Badger;
  • 9 plows for demining;
  • 6 tank tractors M1070 Oshkosh;
  • air surveillance radar station TRML-4D;
  • self-defense systems for AMPS helicopters;
  • 60 outboard motors;
  • 600 LED lamps;
  • 18 thousand cartridges of 40 mm caliber;
  • 3,000 portable anti-tank hand grenade launchers RGW 90;
  • 120-mm mines;
  • almost 2000 camouflage nets;
  • 2000 raincoats;
  • 100 thousand first-aid kits.

We will remind you that two weeks ago, Germany promised to immediately hand over another Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex to Ukraine to repel Russian airstrikes.

At the end of March, Germany handed Ukraine missiles for the Patriot air defense system, engineering vehicles and armored vehicles.
